About Tracy
Tracy Chipman weaves the ancient river of story with the ever-changing natural world breathing new life into this transformative art. She is a Wisconsin native who has traveled far and wide, stepping onto the path of storyteller 26 years ago under an Oregon hazel tree. Deep listening, wild imagining and getting out of the way for the story to tell itself are the tools of her trade. Tracy uses she/her pronouns and lives in NW Wisconsin occupying the traditional territories of the Ho Chunk, the Anishinaabe, and the Oceti Sakowin, (Och-et-eeshak-oh-win), or Sioux peoples. www.tracychipman.net
This project is in supported in part by a grant from Chequamegon Bay Arts Council & the WI Arts Board with funds from the state of WI. Please bring your own lawn chairs.
